Hertz Employees Celebrate Car Culture and Unveil Luxury Fleet Highlights

Hertz employees celebrate car culture, preview new luxury fleet in Estero

Celebrating Car Culture at Hertz

In a spirited display of automotive passion, Hertz employees recently gathered for an exclusive car show at the company’s headquarters in Estero, Florida. The event, held in February, was not just a showcase of vehicles but a tribute to the vibrant car culture fostered within the company. Celebrating its second consecutive year, the event allowed employees to flaunt their own prized vehicles while previewing new luxury cars set to join Hertz’s 2026 fleet.

What’s Rolling Into the Fleet?

Among the eye-catching vehicles displayed was a collection of employee-owned classics, including iconic rides like the '64 Chevy Nova and the DeLorean. These vintage models shared the spotlight with luxurious new additions such as the Cadillac CT-5, Genesis GV80, Mercedes GLE350, and Volvo XC90. This initiative is part of Hertz’s commitment to providing a modern and well-maintained rental fleet, which now boasts the youngest average age of vehicles in the industry's competitive landscape.

Community and Connection

The event was organized by Hertz's employee resource groups, including Veterans and First Responders and GenH (Generation Hertz), which specifically engages newer employees. Mike Moore, Hertz's Executive Vice President and COO, emphasized the importance of fostering an environment where car enthusiasts can connect. “This event is a great way to celebrate that passion,” he remarked, highlighting how employees' love for cars enhances teamwork and community spirit.

Engagement Beyond Business

Hertz's endeavor to promote a car-friendly environment goes beyond mere business. It strengthens relationships among employees and showcases their shared interests. Jessica Owens, a co-chair of the event and Hertz Account Service Representative, expressed her enthusiasm: “It’s rewarding to work with people who share that interest and enjoy bringing it to our customers.” This sentiment resonates deeply, revealing the powerful role of employee engagement in corporate culture.

The Road Ahead for Hertz

As a prominent player in the vehicle rental industry with over 11,000 locations worldwide, Hertz’s commitment to innovation and quality service is evident. The modern fleet not only attracts customers but also enhances the overall brand reputation. With events that celebrate car culture, the company solidifies its position as a forward-thinking organization that values employee connections and customer satisfaction.

The enthusiastic showcasing of vehicles at this annual event embodies more than just an appreciation for cars; it promotes community, encourages dialogue between employees, and reinforces Hertz's dedication to providing exceptional service. As Hertz continues to evolve, it remains essential for them to nurture both their fleet and their people.
